the bit on the right is nothing to do with me ,, its my neighbours ,,garage,,,:beuj: he decided to knock the gable end out to alter it or so the story go,s its been left like that for over 7 years ..:shake::shake:

i got the builder n, his mate back as i,m not up to throwing blocks about at the moment,
oh, the ,grass,,:exclaim: its not bad in that picture :lol: you want to see the rest of it :crazy: some one in a hotrod removed the top surface , using rear tyres :incheek:

thats a GMC 451 semi unit (artic) and believed to be the only one in the country , plans were to restore it as stock as practical ..

basic , roofing materials ordered and payed for today good god its getting expensive ,,,, over£1100 spent today .
delivery for tommorrow morning :tup:,, and i,v just seen the weather forecast :tdown:

it owes me over 6k and i wasnt going to sell it ,,but,, if things dont improve , and i have anything else go wrong or over budget then something will have to be sold === choice of three,, dodge,, ford f350 ,, or GMC,,

cheers sid :tup: were in the same boat and i,v been poorly for a good while so just been re-asessed by ATOS so i,m lookin for work but not fit to do much so i,ll get the workshop up n, secure then things will stop for awhile untill i can save up some dosh

still alot to do budgets blown but once its dry and secure it can be finished of as and when allow

looking for cheap electrical fittings n, possibly conduit now

hi,ya, its 24x14 give or take a couple of inchs ;)

check with youre local planning about what you can allowed (can get away with ) our county council have a web page with all the rules on ,,

not officailly , but i,v been in there till just now sortin out light fittings etc,etc,
still some roof work to finish , the gable ends want weather boarding,, the doors need making n, fitting ,, then the painting will start,, but i,m out of savings and out of work .. so no ,,income,,

well i,m now spending lots of time looking at the insides trying to decide where to put things .. boarding out part of the loft/roof space but doing it by salvaging timper etc, as not to spend any more money ,,just need to get some steel box section etc,etc , to make the main doors ,,got them temporay boarded for now .

bit more progress but its slow as i,m on economy drive .
some shelving up and loft part boarded out and i,m restoring an old outside light that me and my father saved from a skip about ten years ago , it came of the corner of the old village school that both dad and i attended so it could be over 70yrs old its certainly very well made .
