I've just had a massive tax rebate...90 quid (it all helps!)

...and I've just paid my last monthly nursery fee as my littluns growing up fast (now that will save me a bit of dosh!)

Congratulations Sid!

My good news is that, unless there's a major natural disaster, I'll be picking my new car up on Saturday! First roadworthy muscle car since 2001, hope I can manage a left hooker these days :)

In the words of the Churchill dog, ohohohoho yes! Up at 5.30, Scotland by 9.30, back in Bish Vegas by 12. Really nice drive, thought driving a left hooker after 12 years away might be dodgy but no problem at all.

Thanks Jane :)

I have potatoes (two kinds), french beans, peppers, tomatoes, spring onions, peas and carrots - all purple. Although I do have white, yellow and red carrots too. I also have a herb wheel, and some strawberries - just the red variety - but for next year I have some black strawberry seeds.
I'm quite enjoying this grow your own lark

You seem to like Black. Same as my Missis, every plant she buys if either black or deep blue/purple. Kinda works though...
