Picked this up dodging cars at a set of lights in Norwich, right outside Rekkit and Colemans. Held everyone up while I got out of the car and managed to corner it.

Tried feeding it some chicken from a sandwich but it wouldn't have any of it.

Got it home and shredded some more chicken and added a bit of rice, still wouldn't eat so left it shut in the bathroom for the night so our resident moggy couldn't get to it. Opened the door in the morning and the little sod darted out went straight to our other cats bowl and emptied it.

Took it to the vets and they said, got fleas, very very young, apart from that OK and that will be 20 quid. Named it Dinkxy (wifes call that one). 16 years we had her and as the vet also explained it (probably feral) she was a handful. Still have some small scars to prove it.

    Great story...
Our two were feral, born in our barn when we lived in the other fuckin country. Herself brung them in and fed them, and we've had them ever since.
Like us, they survived some arseholes tryin to murder us, cost me more to bring them back to the UK than my truck and her car...
However, 2 more affectionate cats you couldn't wish for. Nobody that meets em can believe they were once wild....

Our other one was a rescue as well. Know what you mean about costs.... We spent a fortune on them in various ways and every penny was worth it.

they both had cat flu and survived.
