It's not the worst in the world,
I would have built it without the Fablon and with a hood
    (remember Fablon??)

Here's a couple of pics I took back in August at the Cranleigh Classic Car Show, an eeeennnnooorrrrmoouuuusssss show with all kinds of cool stuff there. Thought a good rod turnout might be wishful thinking since it clashed with the Supernats and Euronats but I was wrong, there was some top-notch stuff there, including these two.

Nykilodeon doesn't really need an introduction on a British forum, but for the benefit of our American viewers, it was the famed Nick Butler's first build, completed in 1972 using a '23 T body. Power comes from a 6-litre Rocket 88 V8, laid down via an auto box. It was for sale with Mole Valley Specialist Cars for 20k and they consistently referred to it as 'Nickelodeon'.

This '27 Chevbucket is period-perfect for a '60s show car but was only completed in 2008, when it was shown at the GNRS, by Dan Collins. It began as a basket-case tourer, got turned into a roadster and placed on a scratch-built chassis. That's a 283 SBC up front and the car features a lot more besides: http://www.hotrod.com/articles/0809r...fied-roadster/
