    Battery wire from boot ?

So I'm sticking my battery in the boot what thickness wire should I use
    When I had a 50amp alt I used 110amp wire
Now I have a 90amp so do I use 140 amp going to the battery to my FIA kill switch ? Thanks

I run American engines and tend to overkill electrics to make sure that I have no niggling faults further along the road. Maybe post up your engine spec. etc. and somebody running the same set up could advise? For many years I ran my earth to the floor/chassis in the rear but I now run an earth lead direct to the engine block and then run smaller earths to chassis for accesories. Less chance of any voltage drop whilst starting that way. Are you running a separate alt. output wire to the battery side of the switch?
I find this company good on quality and service:

Well she was running with an FIA switch for ages alt and other one side and battery the other side
I think if your running the battery from boot so over 2metres thicker wire is neccessery
But I could be blowing bubbles out my rear might stick 175 amp in that's more than for fuel injection, lights and the fluffy dice
