My new ride
You all probably recognise the car.
A PM out of the blue the other week gave me the opportunity to purchase the car I missed at the beginning of the year.
Its a goer but there is a lot thats needs work, so its a kind of project on the go.
First off looking at fitting 60's style alloys, having the interior re-trimmed in black tuck'n'roll.
Then longer term fit a nice shinny 8-71 blower and further on down the line convert the front end to dropped beam.
That should keep me busy for a while.

Cool, enjoy.

Sounds like a plan. Meanwhile just enjoy it!

That's one cool rod you got there. Plans sound great, you'll have some real fun in that!

Thanks for all the great comments.
I'll keep you all informed as things progress.
My brother (the one with the T) is over from NZ at present so were hoping to go to Chelsea next Saturday.
I've only been waiting 30 years to cruise over the bridge

Great looking car - your plans all sound good, especially the wheel change; will change its personality and help 100%! Enjoy

Wheels and tyres ordered.
Gone for Rocket Strike in polished finish for the rears 15" x 10" with 5" backspace with Hoosier Pro Street 31" x 12.5" x 15" treads.
For the front will be ordering Rocket Launcher in polished finish and using the existing Vredestein tyres.
For some reason the front hubs were drilled for 4.75" PCD and Northants Tyres won't have any Launchers until next order in October.
Would it be easier to change the front hubs to Ford pattern? What's involved?
