Took the motor out for a run to Knebworth House last Sunday.
    New wheels and spinners fitted.
Sunny day, shame about the mud.

    Thanks for the positive comments.
As I drive it I find more to do!!!!!
Needs a bulkhead between trunk and passenger compartment.
Whine from the transmission at around 60 mph. Not sure if its the auto box or rear diff as noise drones around interior.
Carbs also need a service as the're leaking down the manifold.
Still that's what I bought it for.
Need something to tinker with now I've finished the house.
Garage on its way soon. Yippee somewhere dry to work.

Well, I was just going to replace the carbs.

    These

    For these

But then I thought lets clean the fuel streaks off the manifold.

Pressure washing failed, the wife's steam cleaner failed so I found a local soda blaster.
Then thought need to do the whole thing.

    So I now have this

    The blower....
Thing are progressing in the right direction.
Need to have the front X-member adjusted for clearance for the 3" Gilmer drive pulley.
Things are a little tight there at the moment.

A plan has been worked out.
