this has come up on my F/B page.....10k seems a bit hopeful
1933 Ford 5 window coupe stock car.
Clear chassis number.
Imported from Wichita, Kansas.
Original unrestored post WW2 stock car.
Has been running. Brakes stuck on. Consider it in barn find condition.
£10k takes it.

I agree BUT, if you consider it has a fat head V8 a chassis that may need a bit of work and a steel body plus you may well get a proper V5c going through some club or other, NOW work out what a glass body will cost you (best part of £3.5K, make a chassis lets say another £1.5K, axles etc. another £1K source a flat head V8 and transmission another £2K then get it registered via BIVA add another £1K and you are not far off.
Don't get me wrong, I would not attempt this project but if you are one of those that has to have period correct bits then it's probably not that expensive, just a hell of a lot of work.
