    Hemi Cooper

I like the look of comp coupe`s and I like how crazy some of them looked in the day .in the states they built Crosley comp coupe altered`s this is how some of them looked

I thought I`d put an English spin on it with a mini body. started of with a hemi sling shot model that was based on a 64 championship winning car and a mini cooper body .here was the basic idea

I`ve done a little bit on the chassis and the seat, foot controls axle are painted and fitted .the engine is nearly completed .the body has had 8 mm taken out of the middle ,still got to cut the new rear arch`s out .they might go into the door.here`s how the model looks at the moment

Did cross my mind that no one did this back in the day. Would have fitted right in at the Pod 35 years ago.

the chassis is nearly finished ,just got some detailing work (fuel lines , blower belt ,fuel tank and a few other odds and sods)decided to fill the front wheel arch holes in and the exhaust will exit at the bottom of the doors .here`s how Hemi Cooper looks at the moment

got the body in paint the gold is lighter than it appears in the photos .the body is mocked over the chassis as there`s some detailing to do on the chassis .here`s how Hemi Cooper looks at the moment
