    I am running my original MGB V8 3.07:1 ring and pinion gear in the diff (44 years old now) with a Ford 9" spool modified to take the Crown wheel. Then I have 31 spline shafts to deliver power to the slicks.

    As I had 2 weekends to test and tune before the Mopars I got more confident in hitting the rear end on the trans brake. So far I am happy that the combo WILL flip the car over backwards if I kept my foot in. I will no doubt break the rear end in the future. But until that time I will concentrate on that 8 second ticket.

    Hi Phil!
    I intend to retain the cart spring setup at the rear. I will re tune the slapper bars to work with the wheelie bars. My idea is to make the slapper bars lock up very quickly to stop axle rotation. And then let the wheelie bars do their job. This will take a good deal of test runs and slo mo vids I think. I may think about fitting ladder bars as well?
