    Few snaps from Brooklands

Personal Favorite apart from the Lotus MK1 Escort

Not sure whether this is a converted 4 door or not, thought it looked pretty cool though

Top stuff! Didn't take the Anglia because the forecast was for rain and then it stayed mostly dry... oh, well! At least the good weather (all things being relative) encouraged a strong turnout. Saw the Rover but didn't catch sight of you, I'm afraid, until you were driving up the hill to the exit.

The Consul was outstanding, a proper British kustom and testament to what can be achieved by a hobbyist metalworker. It's been couped by having the roof shortened 7" (I think that's the number he said). The Continental kit and A55 Mk. II cathedral rear lights were works of art.

Is it beetle powered by any chance? the luggage area looks to be panelled over plus the Ford has the same treatment and the boot is open for people to take a gander in.

Thanks Nigel , someones made a nice job of it, guess they must be A55 bumper bits on that front grill. Could have done with a better look at the back but it was a little awkward to get round with the fence

Fella with the 100e built the Allegro with/for he's brother, both on Beetle floor pans (as far as i know). There always seems to be something new going on with that 100e too

This one was up for sale, but he used too/still does have this Beetle on the go. Could be way way off but thought it looked like it had a Model A front end...or something like that
