R C Drag racing anyone? found a load of pics

Having another sort out and getting rid of stuff from back then.

Came across a lot of pics of my venture into this (furiously searches the backs of a pile of photographs in the hope one will have a date on it) small scale version of the real thing. I remember I put a LOT of effort into this and and the potential for kids to get an insight, but to no avail. Had meetings lined up with the powers to be of the day and they just fu**ed me off with excuses.

Anyway if there is any merit in the pics and memories, let me know.

Not one to put crap up on this site, so down to the members (all 8 of us) to decide..

No the buck for the pop (pics to come) disappeared when the vac forming company I used moved sites. I still have a 2mm first pull body from that buck and an unfinished Fordson buck.

Although, hang on. I seems to remember making the first body out of balsa wood, but for the life of me I don't know what happened to it. Maybe it will come to me when I go on to the Pop stuff.
