    im Sid, somerset/wiltshire area

just signed in, like the fact this isn't just a one brand, one style forum, so should be lots of new things to catch ones eye, I know the dreaded facebook thing has killed the amount of traffic on forums, but prefer the small family feel of a forum, im based in the south west and will be looking for event, breakfast meets etc, come April onwards, I have ventured west to Weston super mare for an evening meet and east to Camberley for their town centre show, which might be around my range but who knows.

I sold this to fund my move into the American market (the car, not the wife)

Ooo arrr, Sid! Supra to Camaro is a move in the right direction. You're well travelled if you go all the way to Camberley. I can't help you for meets in the West Country, but there is a very well-attended breakfast meet in Camberley (misleadingly called the Bagshot Breakfast Meet but, hey, it's alliterative) and the first one of 2020 is this Sunday.
Hundreds of hot-rodding magazines free to whoever wants them. British and American titles, 1970 onwards. Please PM if interested.

thanks for the warm welcome, ive had time to look over the site, love the photo threads, some threads do seem a bit forgotten, but now that we are heading into spring things could start to perk up.

    Welcome to the Lightside Sid.
Lived near Devizes myself, many moves ago.
This place might not set the world on fire, but it's the friendliest car place on the web.
    Enjoy !
