    Polishing paint

In the past I have sprayed stuff, reasonably well for a novice, and finished off with 600 wet and dry with soap followed by polishing with farecla G3 compound and a mop. (thank you Steve).

Well things have moved on a fair bit so what is the preferred way to get a good shine, for the first time I have used 2000 grit wet and dry with soap then used some G3 with muslin cloth but is there anything better than G3 or indeed better cloth's to use. Not using the mop at the moment as it is all odd angles and small section chassis rails.

I thought it was G3 then G10 then on with the polish to give it the shine, 2000 on soap is right tho

go to a local paint supplier as there is a lot better stuff than g3 or g10 on sale now.
