We had an attack a little while ago, bit of a bombardment. I think Si has limited permissions for a while to counter them.

It is a water tap in a gas boiler The plastic tap handle cracked and the knob slips on the splines.

You used to be able to buy new plastic knobs or better brass ones,
    You can see the spline
    What'll fit it
I remember I remember sockets sets that fitted,

I used to have a set of sockets that had more points than usual many years ago but can't remember what make and have had a bit of an internet search but came up with nothing I'm afraid.

If it was me I would be using a pair of mole grips until it is too far gone and then replace with a new valve.

I had an Allen type set, there was extension pieces where the valve was inside the cabinet
The alternative is a new plastic knob, brass would be better
