the cheapest one I've seen advertised was 14k all fine and dandy BUT it maybe a VW engine , VW Phaeton W12 , and parts for that are not cheap go alt and a Audi V10 diesel and equally arse numbing

Keep the Mustang body and the engine
Me? I still like the JBA Fox bodied Thingey post #229

I am still not convinced it's worth while, yes the engine is mega bucks and so are loads of other bits but that conversion must have cost a small fortune to fit and paint and at the end of it you have something that is not worth the sum of the parts. If it was a one off Bently and someone wanted to duplicate it (bit like a Cobra) then yes as there would be none to buy or they would be 500K plus, but a replica of a fairly cheap car that you can go and buy just about anywhere then no. Just my thoughts.

    It's like a Fiero Ferrari,
Or a Plastic Cobra , the fellow who has or had Nostalgia. for years had a pop at Cobra copies , until AC made plastic ones and pitched the prices through the roof, and then the kits followed.

If I remember correctly Bentley produced some old school Continental T SWB Wide Body Full Flair Arch models with , I think, no back seat machine finished aluminum
and the stuff that was fitted to a Mk 1 and 2 Escort

I think Kahn will butcher a Bentley to your taste or lack of it
